Foundation/International Service Quarterly Mtg #2

This is the second of our 4 quarterly meetings during this Rotary year. Please BRING your computer/tablet so we can work together on them.

The morning session on Foundation  (9am-12pm) will host a full hour of project sharing by YOU! Please come prepared to discuss YOUR projects, funding requests, and ideas that others could join in on. We will also work on completing mock grant application forms. We will answer questions on Grants Management learning modules from both the Rotary International site and our District site. We will share what you have done/are planning for World Polio Day. Finally, we will update you on District figures from The Rotary Foundation

As requested by YOU - lunch will be a time for networking with other attendees.

In the afternoon (1pm-3pm) the International session will include new information from the Zone Institute in Toronto held in late September.  We are FAR ahead of so many districts in our paired zones, BUT there are new ideas to share ;-)

Think of the following question:  How can you create or strengthen a regional 'cluster' of clubs (like our JIPSIES in central/western New York)?  Our District is a head above others but let's become GIANTS!   

Have you visited the Service Project Center?  What do you find is something you'll be accessing?  How will you get support for the project you presented in the morning?  Come with your thoughts!
