Community Service encourages every Rotarian to find ways to improve the quality of life for people in their communities and to serve the public interest. Coordinates and promotes club community service projects within the district; works with clubs to encourages district-wide participation; provides clubs support and guidance in developing local service projects that address community needs; provides technical assistance in areas such as fundraising; and shares information and ideas with Rotarians. Encourages clubs to use Rotary's tools for planning, implementing and evaluating, sustainable and effective projects; and to use Rotary's online tools such as Rotary Ideas and Rotary Showcase.
