Silent Auction / Enchères silencieuse

The Silent Auction Committee for the District 7040 Conference invites clubs and members to support this year’s Silent Auction by donating an item or making a financial contribution.

100% of proceeds from the Silent Auction will be directed to The Rotary Foundation on behalf of our district, supporting impactful programs in our communities and around the world.

To maximize the impact of the auction, we kindly request donated items valued at approximately $100 CAD ($75 USD) or more.

Items that typically generate the strongest bidding include regional experiences such as:

• Dinner for two at a local restaurant
• One-night stay at a B&B or hotel
• Tickets to a local event or attraction
• Unique experiences or services (lessons, tours, activity packages)

Experience-based donations have been especially popular in recent years and help encourage Rotarians to explore different areas across our district.

• A digital auction catalogue featuring all donated items will be shared prior to the conference.
• To be included, please email a photo and short description of your item by [CATALOG DEADLINE].
• The Silent Auction will open [OPEN DAY/DATE] at [OPEN TIME].
• The auction will close [CLOSE DAY/DATE] at [CLOSE TIME].
• All donated items must be delivered no later than [DELIVERY DEADLINE DAY/DATE] at [DELIVERY TIME] during the conference.

Bidding will be open to both conference attendees and Rotarians who are not attending the conference.

Remote bidding will be available via WhatsApp or email, allowing members across the district to participate.
