The Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain (RCCPOS) and the Rotary Club of West Ottawa (RCWO) are collaborating to provide educational support to the children located on the Beetham Estate in Trinidad, W.I.
 
The Beetham Estate is a well-known crime hot spot just outside the capital city of Port of Spain, with limited opportunities for its residents. This Rotary collaboration builds on the assistance provided over decades by RCCPOS primarily to the All-in-One Child Development Centre (a preschool) and the Each One Teach One school.
 
The project will span three years, from February 2020 to June 30, 2022, with projects including infrastructure maintenance/refurbishment, educational materials (computers, library materials), kitchen appliances, stationery and food hampers.
 
Then President of the RCWO Caroline De Witt, is originally from Trinidad and Tobago, and after the devastation of the recent volcano eruption in St Vincent and the Grenadines, reached out to see how her club could help. After an appeal to her members and the wider diaspora, they made a donation of USD 11,453 towards the Rotary Disaster Relief.
 
Rotarians and Rotaractors in St Vincent, and by extension, the people of SVG, extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Rotarians in West Ottawa for their generosity and support.

Le Rotary Club de Port Central d'Espagne (RCCPOS) et le Rotary Club de West Ottawa (RCWO) collaborent pour fournir un soutien éducatif aux enfants situés sur le domaine Beetham à Trinidad.
 
Le Beetham Estate est un haut lieu de la criminalité bien connu à l'extérieur de la capitale de Port of Spain, avec des opportunités limitées pour ses résidents. Cette collaboration du Rotary s'appuie sur l'assistance fournie pendant des décennies par le RCCPOS principalement au All in One Child Development Centre (un établissement préscolaire) et à l'école Every One Teach One.
 
Le projet s'étendra sur trois ans, de février 2020 au 30 juin 2022, avec des projets d'entretien et de remise à neuf de l'infrastructure, de matériel pédagogique (ordinateurs, matériel de bibliothèque), d'appareils de cuisine, de papeterie et de paniers repas.
 
Caroline De Witt, présidente de la RCWO, est originaire de Trinité-et-Tobago, et après les ravages de la récente éruption volcanique à Saint-Vincent-et- les Grenadines, elle a demandé à son club de lui venir en aide. Après avoir lancé un appel à ses membres et à la diaspora, ils ont fait un don de 11 453 USD en faveur du Rotary Disaster Relief.
