Mayor's Cup

The Mayor’s Cup Committee is responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting the Sunrise Rotary Club’s signature summer event: the Mayor’s Cup Festival and Regatta. This annual tradition brings together the community, celebrates Lake Champlain, and raises funds to support local Rotary service projects. Plans and manages all aspects of the Mayor’s Cup Festival and Regatta, including logistics, permits, entertainment, vendors, and volunteers. Coordinates with city officials and partners, promotes the event through media and community outreach, oversees fundraising and sponsorships, and ensures a safe, inclusive, and successful celebration of Plattsburgh’s waterfront and community spirit.
