From RI Club and District Support:

Dear Governor and Governor-elect,
Greetings from Chicago!
Sophie and I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with you this past week on Zoom. Thank you again for making the time to share how your districts are adapting to these unique times. If we have not had the opportunity to speak yet, please feel free to reach out, and we can schedule a time to jump on a call. Email is the best way to contact us, since we are no longer linked to our office phones.
We have heard so many inspiring stories and ideas over the course of the week, but here are some examples of your leadership in action:
1.       Some districts and clubs are planning events using Netflix Party. Click the link for more information on Netflix Party.
2.      One club raised money to buy lunches for local grocery store workers, local school workers, and emergency medical staff. It was a great way of thanking others for their hard work, and of supporting local business.
3.      District 6330 has done an exemplary job of updating their website with important resources, relevant to these challenging times. See this link for more ideas.
4.      District leaders everywhere quickly embraced Zoom calls with AG’s, to begin planning multi-club projects, focused on supporting healthcare professionals.
5.      One e-club president, who is also an IT professional, offered help getting smaller clubs online, so they could become more comfortable with available resources.
6.      In many districts, smaller clubs are starting to hold joint online meetings, alternating the responsibilities of programming and running the meeting, each week.
A few other things to note:
Kindest Regards,
Sophie and Sarah
