Two donations. A total of $20,000. Now, that’s a good start on a fundraising campaign that will see the creation of a peace park with a labyrinth in Stittsville this year. This will be the first such peace park with a labyrinth within the city of Ottawa.
These two major donations, one for $15,000 and one for $5,000, were announced by the Rotary Club of Ottawa-Stittsville, the driving force behind this peace park project, at a celebration to launch the fundraising component of the project on Wednesday, Jan. 7 at the Bank of Montreal branch on Hazeldean Road in Stittsville.
