Are you counting the days until you can meet again?  You have friends in USA or Canada that you have not met in person for over a year and a half – they’re waiting for you too!  The Ottawa Conference & Event Centre on Coventry Road in Ottawa is the location where we will be “Reaching Out” and meeting for the Rotary District Conference on May 6 & 7. You can find all the information here.

DisCon2022 will be different than past events.  It will be family friendly with activities and meals for all ages.  It will be a celebration of the past Rotary year and an opportunity to learn from speakers that will help everyone to step back and reevaluate their life and make strides into a seeing through a different lens.

Our speakers and workshops will be uplifting and motivational.  They will focus on building body, mind, and soul - resilience, nutrition, exercise, fun, friendship, e.g., yoga and family friendly events.  Does that sound like a regular Rotary conference?

Elsie Morden’s presentation is entitled “No time for That.”  She will provide insight on how to overcome adversity and be your best self in a world full of endless demands and expectations. Find her information here.

As a Holistic Wellness Coach, Kristy Whyte works with people who are interested in making changes to their health and wellbeing. Her goal is to empower you with the tools, knowledge and strength needed to make practical and lasting changes toward a healthier lifestyle. Find her information here.

Dr. Vera Etches is the Ottawa Medical Officer of Health.  It will be interesting to hear directly from her how the past year and a half has impacted our communities. For information, click here.

Registration cost start at $150 for new Rotarians, $200 for Rotarians, and Rotaractors $75. Book now to avoid the price increase on November 30th.
