We are pleased to announce that the district nominating committee has chosen Fay Morris Campbell of the Orleans club to be district governor in 2021-2022. Fay has held a number of positions in Rotary, including area governor for Ottawa Central 2011-2017 and is the current district friendship exchange chair.
 
Fay traveled to India in 2015 to participate in a National Imunization Day to protect children from polio. She was the recipient last year of the Monette-Webster Award, which honors a district Rotarian who consistently fosters the ideal of service in their personal, business and community life, and the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace.
 
Fay has been a small business owner and taught at the School of Beauty Culture in Jamaica, for Public and Catholic school board in Ottawa and at Algonquin College. She was reccognized as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Ottawa Black Business and Professionals Association.
 
Over the years, Fay has volunteered at many organisations including Friends of the Jamaica Youth Orchestra (where she served as a board member and treasurer) and the Ottawa Little Theater.
