On November 12th, our District 7040 Rotary Leadership Institute graduated our first Part III class completing their Undergraduate Level. Left to right are: Gene Gengel (Lake Placid), PDG Bette Miller (Faculty/Cornwall Sunrise Club), AG Fay Campbell (Orleans), DGN Martha Weaver (e-club D7040 premier), DGE Susan Bellor (Massena), AG Hadi Mortada (West Ottawa), PDG Bonnie Black (Faculty/Plattsburgh).
The next RLI event in District 7040 will be held in Cornwall on Saturday April 29, 2017, when both Parts I and II will be offered in English and French. Registration for this event is already open, so all interested Rotarians are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible as sessions will be cancelled if the minimum is not met by April 15th.
Our District encourages all new Rotarians to consider enrolling in Part I to learn more about Rotary and how to develop a passion for the world’s largest international service organization and strengthen our clubs.
RLI is not an official program of Rotary International and is not under its control.
RLI seeks to have Rotary Clubs in its member districts identify those Rotarians who appear to have the potential for future club leadership (not necessarily as club presidents) and provide those so identified with a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills so important in voluntary organizations.
